Happy Thanksgiving
I hope everyone has a wonderful turkey day. I'll be at my daughter's house today and bringing a spiral ham, sweet potato cassarole and pumpkin strussel pie. Yum! I forgot to add the 1/2 tsp. salt. At least it looks good! lol

Christmas Greetings
Getting ready for my Christmas craft shows. I sell a lot of my handpainted "word" pillows and this was just part of my wholesale order! Now to get busy on my own stuff.

Birthday Party Tablescape
Forgot to show my table decorated with a fall theme. I was able to fit 10 ladies around it. I kept my rooster from Carolina Pottery, and candlesticks from Hobby Lobby in place and just changed out the candles. I added the pumpkins and sprays which I already had in my stash. What you didn't see was my handpainted sunflower goblets from Tuesday Morning, and red and yellow dishes since I served buffet style.
The silver tea service on the buffet was my mothers. She bought it at an auction in NC in 1956. I also used her sterling silver flatware. She would have been 101 today. She lived to be 95 and passed away in 2003. Happy Birthday, Mom.

Birthday Party
September 23rd was my birthday, so I decided to throw myself a party - well somebody had to do it! After all, it was a pretty big one, so may as well embrace it. I wanted to make it special for my friends, so made most of the favors, bingo prizes and the decorated bags. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

I'm back..................
I've been away from Blogland so long I almost forgot how to post. Had a busy summer and got lazy about keeping up my blog, not that anyone is reading it yet! LOL
My friend from AZ visited me the end of July and this was a quilt displayed at the Knoxville Quilt Show. It's made entirely out of yoyos. Wonder who he is????????
Then my husband had two back surgeries within a week. After being away from home for three weeks he is doing a lot better and trying to get back to normal. His three brothers came to visit, two from PA and the other from Ohio.
Now that fall is almost here I'm getting busy for my craft shows. Will show you some of my new items soon. Hugs, Karen
